Bevin and Alan's Wedding!

Christmas afternoon we left and headed to Asheville, NC for Bevin and Alan's wedding. they had 14" of snow the week before so there was still a good bit left, so we were able to enjoy a white Christmas! I have to stay this was by FAR the best destination wedding we have been to! Both of their families were so welcoming and everything was so nice. It was such an honor to be apart of their wedding. Alan and Garrett have been best friends (they are more like brothers) forever so Bevin and I have no choice but be around each other a lot! She is such a sweet person and I am so lucky to have her as a part of my life! On Sunday, the boys went to the Land Rover driving school so the girls went shopping! I enjoyed hanging out with Bevin, her mom, and little sister. That night the whole Antee and Lyle clan and us went to the candlelight tour at the Biltmore. I think Alan's dad knows more about that house than the people who work there! The next morning Alan and Bevin and us went on the behind the scenes tour there and got to see so much! The poor guys I don't think enjoyed the 250+ stairs we had to climb! For some reason my card will not download so I will download those pics later!

Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas the year as our first as a new family! I grew up always having my grandparents over for Christmas morning breakfast so this year we started it at our house. My parents came over the night before and spent the night, just in case Santa needed help putting anything together! The next morning Garrett's parents, grandparents, and his aunt and uncle and cousins joined us for breakfast. We had such a wonderful breakfast and enjoyed having everyone over! Grace Anne got the popular Zhu Zhu pets that the cats LOVE and tons of toys. Her favorite is probably the trampoline!

Meet our new little boy-

Poor Stella has been so lonely that I had told the vet to please call when they had a kitten that needed a home...so the week of Thanksgiving we got a new kitten! G named him Brewer after my dad! He is only a month older than Stella but he is HUGE! He is such a sweet boy! He isn't much on taking pictures so this one of the few I have with him still! Poor Stella is still so tiny!

Nov 2009

I am such a bad blogger! I think its because I am ALWAYS working and finding the time isn't always so easy. Nov is always such a fun month for us because its both my daughters and sweet niece's Birthday month, now I get to throw in my father-in-laws! Lula Belle's birthday is the 3rd and I can't believe she is 4! Where has the time gone!? All babies are such miracles but I can officially say Kate and I can both say our girls ARE!!! I hate that we missed not being able to celebrate sweet Lu's birthday but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one day they will be back here in the SOUTH.

Nov 30th is my sweet girls birthday and it is so hard to believe she is 8! I'm not old enough to have an 8 year old! She has been such a blessing to me and I can't image not having my sweet little girl! We always let her pick where she wants to eat for her birthday and she wanted Stix so we all went and celebrated both hers and Mr. Harbucks birthdays (his is the day before). We had such a fun time! She wanted to have her party this year at the movie theater so her and her friends had such a fun time and I have to say that was the easiest birthday party. All I had to do was show up!

Thanksgiving was so nice this year. Lula Belle and Violet (along with Kate and Jay!) came into town. We headed up to our cousin's farm with the Lee side of the family and had the BEST time! It was nice that the Harbucks joined us so we were able to spend Thanksgiving with our family which is so important to us. After we left the farm we went to Garrett's aunts and uncles house and had a yummy dessert! We were stuffed by the time we made it home!

The week before Thanksgiving my sweet Great Aunt Lucy passed away. She had turned a 100 the month before and had such a nice party. She was such a special lady that cared for her family and will be missed.

Enjoy a few pictures from our month of Nov!
